Eddie Leon is a clear-cut communicator who always points back to the Creator. He is the founding and Lead Pastor of CityLights Church. Eddie was born again on December 15, 1999 and wed his beautiful wife, Melissa Leon, in 2005.

Eddie is also known for his unyielding passion for discipleship and helping others reach their dreams. He is not moved by numbers and as one will quickly catch, he is all about building people and sending them out to impact their world.

Fabian Garcia was 18 years old when God told him that he was going to be a part of building a House of Prayer. Originally from Spain, he attempted to establish one there but failed. Years went by and those words were soon forgotten. Little did he know that God was bringing him miles and miles away to Chicago not only to write his love story with his wife, Mari Garcia, but also call him to be an associate pastor at CityLights.

During a time of prayer with Pastor Eddie, God reminded Fabian of His words and he is currently at work leading CityLights to build a place where Chicago can come and speak to the God of this city.

Fabi is an International Gourmet Chef specializing in Spaniard food and loves to swim. He married his wife, Mari Garcia, in 2007 and has been living in Chicago ever since. They also have a son named Liam Azlan—their pride and joy.

Melissa Leon is at work equipping God’s people to reach their destiny and purpose in life for His glory. Currently, she is building God’s church alongside her husband, Pastor Eddie Leon, and working on establishing a woman’s ministry at CityLights.

Having attended Northeastern University, Melissa graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an area of concentration in music. She is known for her beautiful voice—continuously singing to the Lord and leading His people in worship.

She aspires to one day visit Africa and if she could, she would pack everyone up and move there!

Melissa and her husband have been married since June 2005 and have a beautiful daughter named Anaiah Ashley Leon who has changed the meaning of their lives.

Mari Garcia is a passionate and creative visionary who loves to travel the world. She has followed God to Uganda, South Africa, Brazil, and Honduras and hopes to inspire young people to do the same. Mari worked at Lydia Home Association as an Educator/ Event Coordinator for the What’s Good Abstinence Program. She has had the opportunity to teach in over 30 Chicago land schools on the importance of making healthy life choices.

She loves to use her creative genes to make things such as women & baby accessories and custom Jewelry Frames. Mari is also the founder of the Love Life Movement which has birthed Boutique 2:45. More information on Love Life can be found at www.thelovelife.org.

Mari and Fabian Garcia have been married since 2007 and have currently added a new addition to the family: Liam Azlan Garcia .
